We are a small, senior planning and production studio in Orange County. Margaret Zimmermann and a team of six plan roughly forty events a year — weddings, corporate programs and milestone celebrations — and we are on site for every single one of them.
Marigold & Vine Events was founded in 2013 by Margaret Zimmermann after fourteen years running catering and banquet operations for hotels in Anaheim and Costa Mesa. The studio has stayed deliberately small: when you hire us, Margaret writes your timeline, sits in your vendor calls and is standing at the loading dock on event day.
We work from a studio on Sunny Day Drive in Anaheim, ten minutes from the Convention Center and the resort district, which is where a good share of our corporate calendar lives. The rest of the year takes us to estates in Yorba Linda, wineries in Temecula, rooftops in Long Beach and private homes throughout Orange County.
Every engagement starts with a written scope, a fixed planning fee and a budget workbook that you own. There are no vendor kickbacks and no undisclosed markups — a policy we put in writing in our terms of service.

Most clients book full planning or day-of production. Design, sourcing and staffing can also be contracted on their own if you already have a planner in house.

We hold relationships with more than 90 venues between Santa Barbara and San Diego and negotiate contracts line by line on your behalf.
A printed and digital run-of-show, timed to the minute, plus load-in supervision, vendor check-in, guest flow, contingency plans and full strike at the end of the night.
We talk through dates, guest count, venue status and a realistic budget range. If we are not the right studio for the job, we say so and point you elsewhere.
Within three business days you receive a written scope, deliverables list, fee and payment schedule. Nothing is charged until you sign.
Concept boards, scaled floor plans, venue visits and vendor shortlists. You approve every contract; we never sign on your behalf.
Run-of-show, call sheets, load-in schedule, rain plan and a final vendor walkthrough two weeks out.
Our team is first in and last out. You receive a closing report with final costs, vendor notes and photo delivery dates.

Reviews are collected by written survey after each event. Full references are available on request during the proposal stage.
Our studio sits at 1166 Sunny Day Drive, Anaheim, CA 92801. Roughly two thirds of our calendar happens within twenty-five miles of that address — Anaheim, Orange, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, Irvine, Long Beach, Newport Beach and Huntington Beach. We also travel regularly to Los Angeles, Pasadena, Temecula, Palm Springs and San Diego.
Travel beyond a 60-mile radius is quoted separately and disclosed in the proposal before you sign.
